ANGELS ELITE MODEL AGENCY have been producing the Miss Blackpool Competition for 14yrs now, this being the11th year we have obtained   the Licence and we now have full ownership of Miss Blackpool with our own team of organisers. 

The "Beauty Pageant" has now been brought into the 21^st Century with the help of many local businesses.

We at Angels Elite decided that it would be easier for people to enter if heats were in the evening rather than in the afternoon giving the people who were in full-time employment a chance to enter and to be able to bring people along with them to give them support.

To attract new contestants it was decided that the heats should be in club wear rather than swimwear thus enabling members of the audience to participate at short notice and to make newcomers to the beauty circuit more confident and comfortable.

The Rules were opened up to allow girls that are married or have children to enter and the age limit on entrants is between 18 yrs up to 30yrs (inclusive).

The Final still retains swimwear and eveningwear sections although girls are allowed to wear short sarongs with swimwear, it was also deemed in keeping with the present climate to change day wear into club wear.

Whether the "old school" contestants agree with this or not it has seen the number of entrants rise from between 3-5 per heat to between 12-22.  The vast majority of whom are entering for the first time.
