Each year the winner of Miss Blackpool goes on to be crowned "Queen of the Lights" at the switch on of the Blackpool Illuminations, which usually take place after the Miss Blackpool Competition.

 

 

 

 

 

 All entrants need to register between 7.30pm & 8.30pm.  During the heat they will need to walk in front of the judges and have a slight interview with the compere, who will ask them about their occupation, hobbies, ambition etc.  

 

 

The Final will consist of a total of 16 girls.  The contestants will come from all areas of the country and will converge the day before the Final at the prestigious Norbreck Hotel, to go over their itineraries for the next day and also began their 1^st session of rehearsals.

 

 

 

They will have beautiful accommodation and food during their stay, and after the gruelling first lot of rehearsal they will have relaxing drinks in one of the hotels private conference rooms, the limousines will arrive and take the finalists to G Gasino, where they are wined and dined, and then on to enjoy the casino. 

 

Through out the whole of the 2 days the girls are driven around in limousines courtesy of GOLDEN EAGLE  LUXURY LIMOS.

 

 

The contestants will then start early the next morning with rehearsals for the Final.

 

The evening of the Final of "Miss Blackpool" will be a Black Tie Dinner Dance, which will include sponsored pre-dinner  and a 4 course meal
